Baptismal Banner for Rayner

Before I say goodnight and sign-off I'm sharing what I made few hours ago.  It's a baptismal banner for baby Rayner.  I played with Accent Essentials, Jasmine, and Cindy Loo Cartridges =)  The stamp image (watch) is just a freebie from a craft magazine I bought early this year and can't remember the name.  Yeah I know, I should really start documenting my stamps.

Layering Details:

Good night and heave a great week-end =)

Batman Half-Belt Tags

As of this day the 2nd give-away items for my son's Halloween birthday party are all done but I really have no idea how I will do the packaging of the items.  Since my mind is totally blank since last night, I just played with the Batman and the Bold Cricut Cartridge.  I decided to make some cuts ... the belt ... but afterwhich I cut each into half and make it Thank You tags.  Then I have a ghost acrylic stamp by Panduro and I find it so cute coz it looks like an adult and a child ghosts and it kind'a represented me and my son under a blanket all set for a halloween costume party.  After stamping all the images with CTMH white stamp pad, I took my gold pen and wrote "TACK!" a Swedish word which means Thanks.

Interested to see the first batch of Thank You cards I made for my son's party?  Click here =)  As I have said I am giving away 2 special give-away items for every kid during the party so don't be confused or wonder why I made another set of Thank you cards/tags shown above.

Oh well I'd better take a short walk to refresh my mind ...... ah I think I'll just lie down coz it's so cold and foggy outside.

Thanks for coming here =)

Baptismal Sign : Blessed Day

I believe I can say that I was able to make a lot of things yesterday in line with a client's order for Baptismal Event.  I still have to finish few items but since my son is at home this day due to coughing like a seal I'm pretty sure I will be able to accomplish a lot of things once again this day.  yeah, but he has an appointment for haircut this afternoon plus we have to go to the grocery so maybe 2 hours will be lost for my crafting this day ... oh plus I have a heavy date with the laundry machine again this day.

I came across a set of pens which may use for those kind of pre-cut stickers.  I'm sorry I really forgot what it's called so maybe you can tell me hehehehehehehehehhehehe.  Forgetfulness is part of ageing hehehehehehe.  I kind'a had a hard time using it at first but will practice more.  I bought the set of pens on sale several months ago and it's time for me to use it, right?  There are so many items here in my craft room that needs to be used and abused but I just can't help but buy and buy and buy.  Maybe you know about this pen but it's my first time so bear with me.  I heard also that one can use any pens for CD/DVDs writing which with all honesty I bought a pack of that, too, plus the sharpie pens I bought in UK.

Here are the pens I'm talking about:  Papermania Pens

And here's the project I made using the silver pen from the set:

Materials Used:

Cricut Cartridges:  Stamping Solutions ("Blessed Day" cut to 5 1/2"),  New Arrival (Baby Head - cut to 7"), and Wall Decor & More for the hanging clothes.  The cross you see is an extra cut from Indie Art at 1 1/2".

Cake Doily sprayed with home-made mist using Ranger Distress Ink Refills.

Jumbo 3D eyes
Puff Pen for the mouth
Craft chalk for the cheeks
Stickles - Waterfall

Once again THANKS for dropping by!

Cake Toppers : Baptismal

Though it is not exactly necessary I just decided to make cake toppers for a baby's baptism.  Once again I used New Arrival Cricut Cartridge ... it's actually my very first cartridge which was bought 2008, I think.  I chose the sitting baby from the cartridge =)

The sitting babies were cut at 4" each.

Thanks for coming =)

Cutie Onesie : Baptismal Invitations

I know for a fact that a LOT of crafters already made this kind of cards and I don't mind becaues I have my own touch into it.  It took a lot of love and patience just to make all these cards for a cute, bouncy, sweet, adorable, and handsome baby.  I truly enjoyed making these cards and it did put a big smile on my face all the way through which I needed badly with this kind of weather we're having at this time of the year.

Materials Used:

Cricut Cartridges :  Indie Art (Crosses - 1 1/2"), Forever Young (Hangers - 4") and Stamping Solutions (Blessed Day - 1 1/2")

Onesie Pattern
Scallop Punch 1 1/4" by Stampin' Up
Blue glazed studs
Lace and ric rac ribbon by Creative Company
Pearl hearts by Panduro
Stitched Ribbon bought in Denmark when I visited a dear friend
Eyelash Yarn (Purple)
Oriental Weave from CB Asian Bundle
Tulle (Purple)
Stickles - silver and crystal

Thnaks for the visit =)

Baptismal Thank You Cards : Baby in a Blanket

Yipee!  This project is done for a client =)

I simply used the New Arrival Cricut Cartridge, doilies, 3D eyes, dollar store stamp bought in the US, Scallop punch.  Added a bow and lace I bought in Thailand on each card .... colored the cheeks with craft chalk and highlighted the lips using Copic Markers.  In effect each thank you card looks like a baby wrapped in a blanket.

Will be posting the Baptismal Invitation Cards soon =)

Thank you (Halloween Cards)

At last the I was able to finish the Thank You cards for my son's birthday party..  But maybe will add few things inside when I feel like doing it.  Kids in his class are very excited for his party because it will be an amazing experience for them to watch a magician exclusively for them.  I'm hoping that everything will go as planned.

There are so many things I have yet to create for the party but I take things one day at a time.  There are days I have to re-conceptualize a lot of things and there are days that I'm just working like a machine in my craft room.  Oh well, invitations were out since Friday last week and now the thank you cards are done ....banners ... give-a-ways .... decorations are just in the process .... my costume and the celebrants are all ready so I guess I'm right in schedule. Of course I still have to finalize the food we're gonna serve.

Here are the bunch of Halloween Thank You cards =)

Materials Used for the Front:

Happy Hauntings Cartridge for the Witches Hat and the orange oval you see are left-over cuts from the invitations I made which you may see here.
Spider Embossing Folder
Ranger Distress Ink Pads : Walnut Stain and Brushed Curduroy
Gold studs I bought in Denmark when I visited a dear friend who is also a fellow crafter

Materials Used for the Inside:

Just Rite Rubber Stamps - Times New Roman 95point
Color Box Petal Point Ink Pads

And here's one more look at the cards =)

Thanks for the visit.

BOO! (Halloween Invites)

As the saying goes "Time Goes So Fast!"

My son will turn eight this month and year after year we have a party for him but all those years it was mostly playing time with his classmates ... boys only ... in a private and rented adventure land.  As early as March my son and I talked about some plans for his birthday this year.  he was having a hard time choosing between Superman or Batman or Spiderman (again) or Dinosaurs or Monsters.  When he realized that his birthday falls very near All Souls Day he firmly made a decision to have a scary Hallowen party instead.

Yipee!  How I long to have a Halloween party for his birthday especially knowing that they are big enough NOT to be really scared when it comes to scary costumes.  He chose his costume and of course I have one,too =)

What so special about his birthday this year is that we hired a magician, yipee again = )  Oh I can't wait to that part on his party but I'm sure I will be missing lots of episodes that day because I have to go around and take pictures ... then be a host to the parents and the teachers.  Yes, we invited the parents as well as ALL the girls in his class, too.  I'm crossing my fingers that everyone will be able to come and celebrate with us a scary magical Halloween party.

Now that I'm finish with all the invitations ...32 pieces, I'm now at the start of creating the decorations .... thank you cards ... and the give-a-ways.  So, for this day I would like to share with you all the birthday invitations.

Materials Used:
(Front)
Happy Hauntings Cricut Cartridge - the 3D frame was converted into a card instead ... cut into 5"
Mini Monsters CRicut Cartridge - the word "Boo" cut into 3", and the spider at 0.3/4"
Tim Holtz EF - Halloween Night and Posien Set
Tim Holtz Distress Ink Pad - Barn Door, Peeled Paint, Bruch Curdory, and Vintage Photo
Inkadinkado Acrylic Stamp - Ticket
Stickles
3D eyes
Zig Writer - Brown
Cardstocks - Reprint and Kuretake

(Inside) - for this part I'm sad to say I was not able to take a picture before adding all the party details.  I refuse to show it now due to security reasons but I did use combinations of Stampendous, Panduro, and Hot Off the Press acryclic stamps.

Thank you for viewing =)

PS.  Guess who helped me in making the cards ... click here.

4 Birthdays in a Row

It's a nice feeling to be free from work once in a while and this day I'm free which means time for more crafting.....and so I thought.  The whole morning I have been searching for kiddie soldier costume for my son.  It's one of his request for his birthday.  After several hours of searching I was lucky to stumble upon an on-line store here in Sweden that offers the costume.  Good thing I took a break ...coffee time ... otherwise I could have placed an order from one store in US.  If i did, the mailing cost is even higher than the actual costume.  Now, I can sit back knowing that 2 days from now a package will arrive in which I don't have to pay tax not to forget a higher shipping cost plus they posted on their online store that it may take 28 days or more for the package to arrive since it's Halloween month and they have so many orders.  I'm so happy I found the Swedish store and I even bought a costume for myself.

With limited time I just assembled a set of birthday mini cards.  I remember several months ago I played with my Paper Lace Cricut Cartridge and cut several Happy Birthday.   Luckily I found it in one of the drawers but only 6 pieces left and one is broken :(  Anyway, I only need 4 pieces so it's fine because I have 4 friends celebrating their birthdays this month of October and it would be nice to add on their presents =)

Here are the mini cards =)

Thanks for dropping by!
